Morgan Guigue


Morgan Guigue is a fully qualified teacher and an honors graduate from Canada’s National Ballet School. Morgan holds her RTS teaching qualification with the Royal Academy of Dance (Registered Teacher Status), and is also highly trained in Cecchetti and Vaganova methods of ballet. With over 25 years of experience, Morgan has extensive training in character ballet, contemporary, jazz, lyrical, acro, and tap, as well as experience in coaching students for graded and vocational ballet exams, competitions,  auditions for highly accredited schools, and the esteemed Youth of America Grand Prix ballet competition. 

Morgan is extremely passionate about health and fitness, and she strives to produce highly skilled, physically and emotionally strong and healthy athletes. Her expertise in the study of anatomy and conditioning specifically for dancers, empowers her with the ability to provide her young dancers with the wealth of knowledge and tools that they need to reach their full potential in dance and beyond. 

While living in Toronto from 2011-2016 Morgan had the opportunity to teach and guest teach at several elite dance schools in the Toronto and Greater Toronto Area. In 2013 she was the jazz teacher in the Professional Ballet Program at Canada’s National Ballet School and taught as well as assisted in the professional ballet classes. Morgan was also selected to demonstrate and assist the adjudicators at formal auditions for the prestigious school.  Morgan has been recruited to teach ballet workshops in Canada & the United States with the specific purpose of refining technique and sparking an appreciation for ballet as it is the basis for many other dance forms.  She has also been sought after private ballet & jazz technique coach. 

Many of Morgan’s students have gone on to receive the highest awarded level of “distinction” in their ballet exams, win highest scoring adjudication at competitions, win scholarships and acceptance into highly accredited dance programs. As a dancer herself Morgan has had the opportunity to dance in the Boston Ballet School, as well as partner with dancers of the National Ballet of Canada, Les Grands Ballets, and the Paris Opera Ballet Company. 

Morgan is a motivational and enthusiastic instructor with an eye for detail, who thrives on inspiring and igniting a love for dance in her students. Her focus on health and fitness plays a huge part in who she is as a teacher and what she is able to bring out in her students. NXT Generation Dance is her home and her greatest passion in life, and it is evident in everything she does.
